Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Job Summary:

As a Sales Representative at Central Technologies, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering customer relationships. Reporting directly to the President of Central Technologies, you’ll be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing customer accounts, and exceeding sales targets. With a strong emphasis on customer engagement and technical expertise, you’ll represent our brand with professionalism and integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective customers, converting leads into new business opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and profit margins, demonstrating a results-oriented approach.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively address technical inquiries and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities aligned with monthly product marketing initiatives and training programs.
  • Expand business with existing customers by offering additional product solutions and services.
  • Utilize various closing techniques to convert opportunities into orders, ensuring timely follow-up and quotation delivery.
  • Establish and nurture multi-tiered relationships with customers in purchasing and engineering departments.
  • Actively engage with customers through various channels, including phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.
  • Monitor and manage open orders to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and customer visits as required.
  • Utilize CRM and proprietary software for managing sales activities, customer communication, and pipeline tracking.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent technical work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience with a distributor or manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, adaptability to changing needs and schedules, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Compensation:

  • Base pay + uncapped commission
